19 Injured As Police, Traffic Officers Exchange Blows In Public

About 19 Traffic Marshals
working for the Gombe State Government on Tuesday sustained various
degrees of injuries in clashes with a group of policemen in the state.
Babaji Dunama, General Manager of
the Gombe State Agency for Social Services and Other Related
Matters, made the disclosure. He said that the clashes followed a
disagreement between the police and the marshals at the Cross Roundabout
in Gombe Town.
Mr. Dunama alleged that the marshals
were attacked by the police while performing their duties and later
eight vehicles filled with policemen went to his office at the Ministry
of Youth and Poverty Alleviation and ransacked it while every marshal
they saw there was beaten and 19 wounded marshals were arrested and
taken to the police station.
Mr. Dunama, however, said that after he
reported the matter to the Commissioner of Police, Kudu Nma, the

Landlords With Houses Beside TB Joshua’s Church in Lagos, Convert Homes to Hotels
Many residential buildings in Ikotun-Egbe on the outskirts of Lagos have been converted to hotels and inns because of the presence of TB Joshua’s Synagogue of all Nations Church.
The Egbe-Ikotun area of Lagos, the once residential area, is of late beginning to attract a lot of attention and increasingly becoming a business hub, courtesy of the presence of Synagogue Church of All Nations.
Following the large number of people coming to worship or seek one religious favour or another in the church, the tempo and standard of life in the area have moved upward.
PUNCHNG reports that many house owners prefer to relocate to other parts of the city and let out their houses as chalets.
One of them, Mr. Gabriel Omatade, who relocated to Gemade Estate in Egbeda, said he had two houses now turned to hotels in the area.
He said he makes more than double the money he could have made if his house had been solely occupied by tenants.

Ghanaian representative at this year’s Big Brother Africa reality television show Elikem Kumordzi claims he has seen the video of his new lover, Pokello Nare romping with her former boyfriend, Zimbabwe rapper Stunner.
Addressing a press conference at the Airport West Hotel in Accra Friday, Ghana’s first ever Big Brother Africa reality show finalist Elikem answered questions on his experience in the house, his beef with Nando and his relationship with Zimbabwean beauty, Pokello.
“Yes, I have,” said Elikem when asked if he had seen the tape adding to much laughter “I don’t want to say, yes, it was nice.” Elikem says Pokello told him about the tape from the beginning “and it was not much of a big deal.”
Elikem added that they (Elikem and Pokello) were taking the relationship one day at a time and he will be visiting Zimbabwe soon before Pokello visits him in Ghana.

SHOCKING: Woman Kills Husband And Cooks Body
A woman in eastern China
murdered her husband and boiled the corpse to cover her tracks after he
abused her and her daughter, a report said Saturday.
The woman drugged the man, her second
husband, and tortured him for three days in June by withholding food and
water and beating him, causing his death, said a report on
government-backed news portal Anhui News.
She then dismembered the corpse with a
saw and boiled the parts in a pressure cooker to hide the evidence, the
report said. It did not detail how she disposed of the cooked flesh
afterwards
